This rating (Night Visual Flight Rules) allows the holder to command an aircraft for which the pilot is endorsed, at night, in good weather anywhere in Australia. The training for this rating includes night circuits and night navigation exercises.
On satisfactory completion of the syllabus, students are flight checked by a CASA Approved Testing Officer for the Night VFR Rating. The flight check is approximately two hours in duration and is conducted in the Cessna 172.
The course fee provides for:
12 hours of flying
All Flight Instructor time appropriate to the flying syllabus
All pre-flight and post-flight briefings
Night VFR Rating Test including ATO costs
A wide selection of accommodation is available, including homestay or shared at various rates on request. Also available is airport transfers.

Prices are based on the minimum standards required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and are effective from 1st June 2006. Prices are subject to change without notice.
