A Commercial Pilot must hold a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating to carry fare paying passengers in all weather conditions. Commercial operators usually require their pilots to hold this qualification before they can conduct charters in their twin engine aircraft.
This syllabus of training is the same a PPL holder may undertake, except that it credits the CPL holder with the 10 hours instrument flight time conducted during commercial training.
On satisfactory completion of the syllabus, students are flight checked. The flight check is approximately two and a half hours in duration.
The course fee provides for:
- 22.1 hours of flying
- 13 hours simulator
- All Flight Instructor time appropriate to the flying syllabus
- All pre-flight and post-flight briefings
A wide selection of accommodation is available, including homestay or shared at various rates on request. Also available is airport transfers.
