This course is designed to teach a qualified pilot how to fly an aircraft with more than one engine. The principles learned and practiced during this rating apply to many multi-engine aircraft through to airliners.
This training may be for the pilot who merely wishes to learn to fly a twin-engine aircraft, it may be part of the Commercial Training Program or it may also be part of an Instrument Rating. The time required to achieve this rating will vary depending on the pilot's initial level of performance and experience.
On satisfactory completion of the syllabus, students are flight checked. The flight check is conducted in the Beechcraft Duchess B76 or Partenavia P68B.
The course fee provides for:
7 hours of flying
All Flight Instructor time appropriate to the flying syllabus
All pre-flight and post-flight briefings
A wide selection of accommodation is available, including homestay or shared at various rates on request. Also available is airport transfers.
